Why should we book you as our wedding photographers?
Above all, it should be because you love our images and slideshows. And they make you feel like you wanted to be there.
And also because you like our documentary style, with its mix of beauty, fun, emotion and atmosphere that collectively tell the story of the day. In the years to come, you want those photos to remind you of how you felt on that day.
Our approach is all about people. The humanity of people. Anticipating and capturing those moments, whether it's two-year old Alice running down the aisle while the Register is being signed or the hugs of your Grandma who defied the odds and made it to your big day.
And because there are two of us, we can capture twice as many of those moments. As a husband and wife team we communicate really well. As you will probably find out when you've been married for a while, words are sometimes unnecessary! We each know what the other is doing and thinking (most of the time!) If you employ a photographer who uses a second shooter, it's just not the same.
And don't forget you will probably be with us for most of your wedding day. For those intimate getting ready moments, the first kiss and first dance. In our experience, we get the best wedding photos if we get to know you and your personalities a little first. It's about trust. And that works both ways.
We have been professional wedding photographers since 2016. It's what we do.
You're in Worcestershire - do you travel?
We are lucky enough to live in rural Worcestershire close to the The Cotswolds, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bristol, Worcester and Birmingham but we travel throughout the UK and Overseas.
Travel over a 100 miles from base will usually involve some additional costs. Please contact us for a quote - we love to travel so if we can make it work we will!
Take a look at the wedding in Tuscany - you may find that even for overseas weddings our costs are less than those of a local photographer, even after covering flight and accommodation costs. And we speak your language!
Why would we need two wedding photographers?
We work as a team covering two different perspectives.
Even at a small wedding, there is a lot happening in different places at the same time.
For example, one of us can cover the entrance into the Church or use a different vantage point as the other covers the walk up the aisle.
Having two photographers allows both the bride and groom preparations to be covered fully, for example, even if they are at different locations. The groom usually doesn't take long to get ready - and the time when he does is often at exactly the same time as the bride is getting her dress on.
These are some of the really special moments that otherwise might be missed.
No matter how good a single photographer, they just can't be in two places at the same time.
What do your prices include?
We are very open about our prices - we have nothing to hide! All the information is on our pricing page.
And don't forget that the prices are for 2 photographers, and our full-day package includes up to 12 hours photography and a photo slideshow of the day. All included in the cost.
But much of what we do is bespoke so contact us with a brief outline of your ideas. We can then prepare an individualised quotation for you.
So what is 'reportage' or 'documentary' style photography?
It means that we capture events as they happen, rather than directing you as a film director would. It's your day. You decide what happens and we photograph it.
You won't find us telling you what to do or when or how to do it. We want to see how you react and to capture those moments and feelings in our images. To be meaningful, it has to be natural. And after the event, those are the images that will mean more to you.
We don't take staged photos of dresses, rings or shoes. Does that mean that we don't take photos of those things? Of course we do, as they form part of the story of the day. But we never stage them.
Are you insured?
We have full Public Liability and Professional Indemnity cover. We are also registered under the Data Protection Act so you can be confident about any personal data we need to keep about you.

If you would like to have a chat face to face you're welcome to visit us. We welcome meeting couples before you make a decision, so we can be sure we are the best fit for one another.
If you would like to go ahead we will send your our standard contract and terms and conditions for you to check before signing. We ask for a £350 deposit with the balance payable 30 days before your wedding day or event.
Why are you called Pinhole Images?
It's a long story...
We don't use Pinhole Cameras!
Our trading name indicates a photographic link, but in fact we use high-end professional cameras and equipment for all our photography.
What happens after the Wedding?
So many memories, so many photos! We personally sort, select and individually edit your photos. We do not subcontract this so you always get our consistent style.
For full-day coverage we produce a minimum of 600 final images, and often more.
To do justice to that process we ask you to typically allow 4 weeks after your wedding, but at peak times it can take up to 8 weeks. It will be worth the wait!
We will, however, provide you with a few 'taster' photos within 7 days of your wedding day.
We provide a mixture of colour and black & white photos, based on what best suits the individual photo. Technical challenges sometimes dictate this choice too. If your venue has lovely green uplighters everywhere then your guests are going to look green! But they will look so much better in black & white.
When we have uploaded the final images to our website we'll send you a password-protected link to give you private access. You can then share the images with family and friends as you wish. We provide full-resolution photos suitable for printing, plus lower resolution copies to make social sharing easier.
We also supply a selection of your photos set to music as a slideshow. It's a great way to tell the story of your day in pictures and music. For a full-day wedding this will typically be 10-20 minutes in length.
We will also send you one of our lovely USB stick in a presentation box, containing all the seected images.
How long do you stay at the wedding?
Our full-day package means photography coverage of 10-12 hours.
Unlike some wedding photographers, we won't be leaving as soon as the cake is cut! You may have noticed that there are lots of party photos in our gallery - and that's because we love taking the party photos too.
They usually provide some of the most atmospheric and memorable photos of the day. And hey, if Aunt Edna is likely to be up dancing on the table in the evening, then we want to photograph that!

How much extra is it for your unique Photobooth?
One of our unique Photobooths is available as an optional add-on to our wedding photography. Sorry, we no longer offer the photobooth as a standalone item as we are so busy with our wedding photography.
You can add 3 hours unlimited use of the photobooth to your Wedding Package for £350 if your venue is within 100 miles of our base in Worcestershire. Please contact us for a quote for other destinations.
The booth is designed by us and uses our professional level camera equipment for the highest quality photos, and instant printing.

Do you do special pricing for part-day or off peak?
If you only require part day coverage of up to five hours the cost is £795. Any additional hours would be at £125 per hour.
If your wedding is "Off Peak" we reduce our standard Photography Packages by £200. "Off-Peak" means Monday to Thursday unless the date is a Public Holiday. Any date between 20th December and 2nd January inclusive is treated as Peak Time.
So does that mean you don't take any formal photos?
We recognise that most brides like to have a few formal posed photos, if only for the distant relative to put on the mantelpiece. So we do often spend 20 minutes taking a few more formal shots (we recommend no more than 5 or 6).
If you want 50 formal shots oin the day then you probably don't need a documentary wedding photographer. And be prepared to build in at least 2 and a half hours of your schedule to allow this. It typically takes at least 3 minutes per photo.
If you want some confetti shots then we are also happy to advise on how best to achieve this on the day.
We also usually spend 20 minutes with the bride and groom to get some photos of you before rejoining the party. This gives you some welcome time alone for a few minutes whilst we take some photos.
The rest of the time we'll be in the background taking photos of things that you have no idea were happening until you see the result.
